Filmed on location at UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos in Lisbon andthe Ruins of St Paul’s in Macao, the documentary examines the complex legacy of Portuguese trade, colonialism and religion on western art and architecture from the Age of Discovery to the present day.
